A note for your diary: -

There will be no classes from Tuesday 23rd September to Thursday 9th October.
We will restart on Monday 13th October at Seaton Methodist Church Hall.


See you all at classes and don't forget the Halloween Line Dance Social, Honiton British Legion 31st October, remember fancy dress optional.

Hello Everybody

Here we are again and haven’t we been busy.

Congratulations to some of Monday’s beginners for moving on up to the improver class, keep with it and enjoy the challenge of new dance steps. Nice to see new people joining our classes, it’s always a pleasure.

We would like to thank Ashford Solicitors for inviting us to the Quay in Exeter for an evening of Line Dancing. We had the best time. It’s always nice to see reactions of people who’ve never attempted or even thought of doing line dancing and finding that they actually enjoy themselves, even the bar staff were looking on (think they would have liked to have joined in too!!)

It's time to recharge our batteries.

Hello Everybody

On a sad note Christine Field a very dear class member passed away last month. Our heartfelt wishes go out to her family. Chris was a kind and thoughtful person, with a very bubbly personality, she will be sadly missed.

So here we are again nearly half way through the year, where does the time go?

The dances are coming in by the bus load and having to sift through them all choosing one’s that will be popular with all the classes’ takes time. There are a few nice ones about and as seen at our last social some good floor fillers too.

Thank you for your support on Friday’s social. It was a great success again and fun was had by everybody. DJ Chids showed you his garden and blamed me for the mess it was in. If you were there you will know what I’m talking about!! We had a couple of new members join him on stage “Sheriff West” as well as “Jerry Halliwell” what is he going to do next? We will have to wait till our next social in October to find out.

Hello Everybody

Well here we both are after a very busy Christmas and New Year.

Thank's for coming along to our Christmas Social, again it was a magnificent evening.

Now then!! ………….

How did all my family and friends manage to keep such a surprise party from me? What an evening it was, I didn’t have a clue, it was magic.

My thanks to everyone for helping Chris with the surprise party

I would especially like to thank the following:

Jenny, Bill, Jane and Barbara for arranging the tables and seating

WesternSpirit Twirly Birds and Garth of course, for the dance “Marina Marina”

Big Pete for entertaining you all before I arrived and while Chris had unknowingly to me disappeared to get on Dobbin the Horse and turning in to The Lone Ranger!! (Don’t ask see the gallery)

Ian, Des, Nigel and Chris on the Air guitars and of course my Sister Val for being such a sport.

Ali, Debbie and Peggy for the photo's and Ali T for the Video.

The Vegas boys were magic, loads of dancing of all kinds going on. The floor was covered with dancers doing Line Dancing, Rock and Roll and Free Style. What can I say you were amazing.

And finally my thanks goes to Chris, for whom I will never be able to thank enough for all the hard work that went in to making it such a wonderful evening, an evening I will certainly will never forget. I love you very much, thank you.

So here we are in 2008 the dancing still goes on.
